Agreement

By using GrayCode (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

The Service

GrayCode provides an open-source CLI tool called Hawk with six built-in commands. The core CLI is licensed under MIT. Pro and Team features are proprietary add-ons available via paid subscription.

Your responsibilities

  • You provide your own API keys for LLM providers (Claude, Codex, Gemini, Ollama, OpenRouter, etc.)
  • You are responsible for any costs from your API provider
  • You won't use the Service for anything illegal
  • You won't attempt to reverse-engineer Pro/Team features

Open source

The core Hawk CLI is MIT-licensed. You can use, modify, and distribute it freely. The MIT license applies to the open-source components only. Pro and Team features are governed by these Terms.

Payments

Pro and Team subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly. You can cancel anytime. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Prices may change with 30 days notice.

Privacy

The CLI runs locally. We don't access your code, API keys, or data. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect for the website and paid tiers.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty. We're not liable for any damages from using the Service, including code changes made by AI agents. Always review AI-generated code before shipping.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or on the website.
